Gameplay fix

We just pushed a small update for DynamoKid, this makes it easier to touch the kid and make him jumpy. Basically the complete lower-left corner is now your “touch zone”. This is the first in a series of things we try to see if we can make the game easier to play for everyone.

  1. This actually helps quite a bit. Now, if you could also make it so that a swipe across the empty fill-in-boxes would automatically fill all of them, we would be getting somewhere. I’ve dies countless times because one of the boxes, usually a random middle one, didn’t get filled for some reason. Maybe the game could just interpret a swipe of those boxes as an intention to fill all of them.

  2. Do you tap on each box? because you can just keep touching the screen, and all boxes would fill-in (same basics as swiping, since the screen will just move underneath your finger).

    And the touch-zone around most objects is pretty big.

    What phone do you have? perhaps it’s something with the touchscreen working differently

  3. I do a swipe. I do not lift my finger. However, very often one of the boxes will be missed causing my death unless I catch it in time. My phone is an HTC Legend.

  4. Oh, I guess I should also add that the phone doesn’t have multi touch, even though it has 2.1, so I can’t really hold my finger there.
