For all those android 2.2 users, we added the “install to sd” option to Gulp! so you can save some memory by moving the game onto your SD card. Just a small update, but I’m sure you like it (if you have Android 2.2 that is)

We pushed out a small update to the game, this includes a fix that sometimes happened when moving to level 4 and would cause the game to crash. Besides the fix we also added some brilliant background tunes and changed the interface a bit so that you can select music or sound-effects more easily. Have fun!

And here it is, our big update for Gulp! What’s new in this version? well basically everything! Let’s see:

- We enhanced the backgrounds, they are now much more interesting (new style) and most of them are fullscreen animated
- There is more animation in all graphics
- We added gameplay elements like special items and fruity collectables
- The gameplay is more balanced (this required us to whipe out the leaderboards.. because they were unfair compaired to the new version)
- More soundeffects are added
- Couple of small bugs and gameplay “annoyances” have been removed
- A better help screen was added
- And a new level was included (try making it that far!)

So..yeah, this is what we call an update to the game! We have more smaller updates planned, and ofcourse will be listening to all your feedback through our usual channels: twitter, facebook, email, etc!

On top of all this, we also made a Lite version of the game available on the market, this limits you to a single level of the game (no coins falling down) and some advertising in there.. but it should allow everyone to sample the game.

..next is an iPhone version?

We are very, very, extremely, close to finishing the new update! All we have to do is some more play testing and fixing the final little bugs we find.. Basically that means somwhere tomorrow we plan to push out the brand new Gulp! it contains so much more gameplay and polish that we are sure you will enjoy it.. oh, and it’s an update, not a new game.. so if you already bought it, you will get this all new game basically for free

For now you can enjoy the new promo movie we created, and awe at the new update (for reference, the old version of Gulp! can be seen in this movie) .. it’s coming!

Recreating the game

Welcome to the new pages for Gulp! our fun little, Yummies-eating, casual game! We are currently working hard to give this game a great update. All the level graphics are being redone, and the scenery in the game will have a very new visual style. Some new sound effects, and little graphical animations are added to the game.

We also have some plans to balance the gameplay better, and adding some new elements to the mix. Finally we are thinking about releasing an iPhone version of the game, but that’s only 90% certain!
