Some great words come from Gametaroo! as he talks about Meganoid’s gameplay and mostly the touch controls we implemented.. check it out!
Orange Pixel’s final success is in proving that console-style gaming can work on a touchscreen – it just requires a deftness of touch and a certain degree of restraint to avoid blindly attempting to ape the capabilities of other platforms.

Gamer studio review

The Gamer Studio apparently did a nice review (I’m guessing the iPhone version) a few weeks ago! Giving Meganoid a nice %78 rating.
Meganoid really is a slick action title. It achieves some nostalgia and it is pretty fun to kill a few minutes each day.
Appolicious gives it the bars

Another short but sweet review over at Appolicious, rating Meganoid on iOS a 4 out of 5 bars.
If nothing else, Meganoid proves there’s nothing wrong with an old-school-style game when care is taken to make it both challenging and fun. If you’re hungry for a classic gaming challenge that doesn’t conform to the usual standards of app game platformers, Meganoid is worth a long look.
Pixelated Sausage digs the pixels

Marc over at Pixelated Sausage, gave Meganoid on iOS a spin, and despite some fair criticism, rewards it a 4/5 pixelated sausages! ….yes..sausages! Go check it out.
If you enjoy platformers and especially if you played and enjoyed League of Evil, I highly recommend the game. At only a dollar, the gamble in non-existent and why not support a very rare Android to iOS port?

true to the developer’s word, he wasn’t kidding when he mentioned that the game was HARD.
More gamers slide to Meganoid

The guys over at Slide Gamer are giving the game an overall score of 7.5 so go check out their thoughts!
If you don’t mind dying millions of times and love retro-style games, then be sure to give this decent platformer a shot.
Slide to Meganoid
22.06.2011 - no comments
The guys over at SlidetoPlay took a look at Meganoid and figured it was well worth a try. Their rating is on the cautious side because of some bugs the reviewer experienced a lot.. Fixed a couple so the update for next week (on iPhone) should have non of those issues! (and none of the other reviewers and testers ran into them that often either)
If you like a good challenge and you can handle some frustration, Meganoid satisfies. Meganoids is for fans of teeth-grindingly tough retro games. Count us in.
