Gunslugs:Rogue Tactics Finally released! and first iOS patch update

Well hello there! It’s been some time, without updating, so let me just say: The game is released!  Exclusively on iOS (for now). I decided to delay the Steam release till some weeks AFTER the Steam Summer sale (which started yesterday), and the Android version will be somewhere before that.

Recent versions I’ve been adding a lot of changes and tweaks, and I just pushed a v1.0.2 to the app-store to fix some mobile-specific problems with mostly the interface (which is good, because so far, I had no complaints about the game itself!)

 

Let me just share all the changes since v0.8.0.. which..have been a lot..

  • added: Walkman item

  • added: security cams now also sound alarm when noticing bodies

Fixes and changes:

  • fixed: spiderbots have a smaller “activation” area
  • fixed: spiderbots won’t detect you when you sneak around them
  • fixed: vents and lockers at nearly same spot
  • fixed: too much XP in first tier
  • fixed: improved the tanksuit/mechsuit
  • fixed: various bugs with Snakes
  • fixed: game stops responding when dropping off screen (overworld) while in a vehicle
  • fixed: couple of gamepad setup bugs
  • fixed: overhauled the indoor security-alarm settings through cameras
  • fixed: some drop-blocks don’t come back (dropped off screen?)
  • fixed: enemy tanks now blow them selves up.. rocket should be higher (above roadblocks)
  • fixed: player makes slightly more walking noise (unless you’re crouching / wearing slippers)
  • fixed: player can hang on to ledges shorter (unless you have the right gear)
  • fixed: broken/disabled cameras now increase lowest-alert level of a building
  • fixed: bugs in tutorial/animations
  • fixed: hide mouse if no movement after X seconds (and other input is used)

  • fixed: mech-suit shoots double plasma (confusing, can even shoot when suit isn’t populated)
  • fixed: some inventory items would take up two slots after holding an item in hand
  • fixed: “select” and “Back” interface navigation options now have bigger (touch)area
  • fixed: various options in settings not correctly responding
